A golden object appears in the grey dawn, suspended on the cold water. A piece of plastic hanging by a thread, caught by the wind it turn itself in to a little dragon. We called them Environmental Ephemerals<\/em>; a situation created for a specific location where our interaction changes the environment for the moment it takes place. We document it as research for installations, both permanent and temporary. Inspired by the Land Art movement we use nature as and extension of public space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To create something ephemeral or short-lived holds a certain charm, and philosophy, for us. A work of art by Francis Al\u00ffs, \u201dSometimes doing something leads to nothing\u201d is a great inspiration for us, or in the worlds of Beckett \u201dfail, fail again, fail better\u201d, important both in it\u2019s humor and complexity. Enviromental Ephemerlas<\/em> is a project we been working with since we first started to collaborate and has been documented and displayed in Spokane, New York and Stockholm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
