Flux Factory is a wonderful labyrinth of workshops, residencies and a gallery space. People have lived here a long time and people have lived here a short time. They are all great artists and greet you well! This is a good reason to go too Queens!

Auction Preview from Lower East Side Printshop
The Lower East Side Printshop have a open auction preview until February 14. A great opportunity for artists to check out their printing space, you can apply for a residency and work with a master printer- if you get through the competition. A lot of former Pratt students on display in the exhibition.

Gallery tour on Lower East Side
Gallery tour on the Lower East Side didn’t offer much. Still, Leor Grady’s pile of pillows, (”Wall”) at Hendershot Gallery cached my attention by its simple stillness. Also Seth Michael Forman’s odd paintings are worth mentioning, they are showed at Frosch & Portmann.
